Fort Worth Municipal Court Judges provide legal services 24 hours and seven days a week. The judges are part of the judicial division of the municipal court in Fort Worth, Texas. The municipal court files a range of cases, such as parking and traffic violations, violations of city ordinances and school attendance violations. The court s clerk division is responsible for keeping the records of the municipal court; issuing process; maintenance of centralized docket systems and index systems of court judgments; and collection of fines and court costs. It is also responsible for the reporting of convictions to statutorily mandated agencies; distribution of fines and court costs to city and state accounts; and supervision of deputy court clerks and support staff.
