Energy Transfer Equity, formerly known as La Grange Energy, is a publicly traded corporation that was formed in 2002. Its subsidiaries include the General Partner of ETP and Energy Transfer Partners. The company conducts natural gas operations that include transportation and storage. It is involved in the transportation and storage of retail propane through Heritage Operating and Titan Energy Partners. Energy Transfer Equity manages the Canyon Gathering System, which includes more than 1,000 miles of natural gas pipeline with over five conditioning facilities. It also manages Oasis, Transwestern, Midcontinent Express, and Fayetteville Express pipeline systems. The company is managed by Energy Transfer Partners, which owns one of the largest pipeline systems in Texas. Energy Transfer Partners has pipeline operations in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico and Utah. It serves more than 1 million customers.
