Palestine High School Alumni Association
The Palestine High School Alumni Association (PHSAA) is a non-profit organization based in Palestine, Texas. With a mission to support and recognize the achievements of Palestine High School graduates, PHSAA has awarded over $92,200 in scholarships to graduating seniors and $10,200 in HAAT (Honor a Teacher) awards to outstanding teachers in the community. Led by a dedicated board of members, PHSAA aims to foster connections among alumni, provide educational opportunities, and celebrate the accomplishments of both students and educators. The association holds annual meetings and distinguished alumni dinners, where they honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the school and community. Notable recipients of the HAAT Award include Dr. William Stewart, the principal of Palestine High School, and Judge Bascom W. Bentley III, who was recognized as the Alumni of the Year in 2017. PHSAA also pays tribute to alumni who have passed away, such as Otis S. Crittenden, a member of the class of 1952.
