The East Texas Arboretum features beautiful botanical gardens and over two miles of natural hiking trails. A 115-foot suspension bridge joins two trails together, overlooking a restored bog area. The bog is home to some of Texas' only native carnivorous plant species, the pale pitcher plant. Historical structures like the Wofford House Museum and the Henderson County Veterans Memorial monument provide insights into the past, while areas like the DREAM Garden and our live enclosed bee hive promise hours of fun and entertainment for the whole family.
