The Dumas Fire Department, established in 1930, is a highly trained and dedicated fire service in Dumas, TX. Comprised of sixteen paid firefighters and up to thirty volunteer firefighters, they respond to an average of 1100 emergency calls annually, including structure fires, medical calls, hazardous materials incidents, and special rescues.
