History
In !972 our parents Jack and Nancy Doreck opened up a butcher shop/custom processing plant. Their three children John, Raymond and Laurie started helping at a very young age. In 1983 we expanded, adding a much bigger retail area to serve the Galveston County area. Since then we started making our homemade smoked sausage, that has expanded into our popular Doreck's Regular, Jalapeno, Jalapeno and Cheese, Hot, and several types of Chicken Sausage. We also started to make Bar-B-Que. We just recently added a rottiserie smoker that has really enhanced our BBQ. Just last year we opened a Drive Thru for our BBQ and started grilling hamburgers that are fresh ground on the premises daily. We have done Custom Processing for the community since our beginning. We do Deer Processing, which is always done one deer at a time. In 1994 Jack and Nancy retired leaving John, Raymond and Laurie to continue the family business We continue to proudly serve Galveston County and surrounding communities.

Our Drive Thru is now Open until 6:00 PM Tue-Fri, Sat & Sun until 4:00 PM USDA Choice Beef, Homemade Sausage, Fresh Burgers, Custom Processing, Deer Processing. We can special cut steaks, roast, etc. Our homemade sausage comes in several delicious flavors. Our burgers are made with a special blend of meats that we fresh grind daily, made to your order.
