Devine Volunteer Fire Rescue Department has been proudly serving the Devine community and its surrounding areas for nearly 100 years, with dedicated volunteer firefighters from all walks of life. With a main response station at The Dubose Firehouse and an additional station for department and community needs, the department consists of nine apparatuses and thirty personnel, including Chiefs, Line Officers, Active Firefighters, and Cadets.
In addition to their firefighting services, Devine Volunteer Fire Rescue also operates the Devine Fire EMS Academy, offering vocational programs for high school juniors and seniors to graduate as state-certified Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians.
