De Santiago EC/PK Center is a part of the Aldine Independent School District, one of the largest school districts in Texas with an enrollment of more than 56,000 students. The school maintains the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities, which is a special education program for children 3 through 5 years who exhibit severe physical, visual, auditory and developmental disabilities. De Santiago EC/PK Center organizes various extracurricular activities, such as book fairs, fall festivals, talent shows, dance performances and musical concerts. It also conducts classes in English as a Second Language, bilingual education and Title I. Located in Houston, De Santiago EC/PK Center has a prekindergarten program, which provides instruction in oral language, social skill development, and reading and math readiness.
