HistoryBeginning With Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Chavez, and their son, Robert, Permian Machinery Movers started doing business unloading, loading, and moving heavy machinery weighing up to 30,000 pounds for other companies in the area. When customers were interested in buying the forklifts that were used to do the work, Ramon and Robert began to sell their machines. Over time, Robert's brothers and sister (Roy, Ricky, Ramon Jr., Raul, and Rosemary) joined the company, making it a fully family-owned and operated business. With that, Permian Machinery Movers was born. Starting in a small Quonset hut building located in Odessa. In 1994, the business moved into the current Odessa location, where the business grew into Sales, Rentals, Parts, Rigging, and shop and field Services. Our El Paso store, led by Robert's brother Roy, opened in 1987, moving to a newer, larger warehouse in 2004. Then, in 2007, our San Antonio branch, led by Ramon Jr., opened its doors.SpecialtiesForklifts, pallet jack, scissor lift, telehandler, and other heavy machinery.
