History

HISTORY Ceta Canyon is located in a beautiful branch of the Palo Duro Canyon, about 30 minutes from Canyon, TX, in Randall County. In 1918 Mrs. T.C. Delaney of Memphis, TX brought a group of girls to the canyon for summer camp. The camp fee was $1.00. In 1925, the Northwest Texas United Methodist Conference purchased 316 acres for the camp. The camp has grown into a year round camp and retreat center, serving over 11,000 guests yearly.
