Centro Aztlan is a non-profit community service center, initiated in 1975 by Houston Community Services, which provides a variety of services designed to assist Houston's growing Chicano population. Since its inception, Centro Aztlan has clearly demonstrated a firm commitment to address the needs of the Chicano community by providing low-cost services with a bilingual volunteer staff. Located in Houston's Eastend Barrio, Centro Aztlan is accessible to the community its serves. Situated along Harrisburg Blvd on a major bus route, Centro Aztlan has become an ideal place for community meeting, events and festival. Centro Aztlan is always in need of volunteers and financial support to maintain its mission and goals for the community.
