Central Texas Telephone Cooperative was established in 1951 to provide affordable telecommunications to the people of central Texas. The Cooperative is a nonprofit organization that operates more than 7,300 access lines. Its capabilities include voicemail, automatic recall, caller identification, inside wire maintenance, distinctive ringing and selective call rejection. Central Texas Telephone Cooperative offers extended local plans, online bill payment and monthly specials. The organization maintains alliances with West Central Wireless and Mid-Tex Cellular to provide cellular telephone service. It also supports the Lite-Up initiative. Central Texas Telephone Cooperative is headquartered in Goldthwaite, Texas.
