Dr. Cathryn Coleman's clinical interests include general surgery, acute care surgery, foregut surgery, surgical oncology, and minimally invasive robotic surgery with a particular interest in complex hernias and abdominal wall reconstruction. Her specialty of general surgery encompasses a wide breadth of cases including gallbladder disease, appendicitis, hernias, GERD, breast cancer, diverticular disease, colon cancer, endocrine etc. Many of these procedures can now be accomplished via minimally invasive techniques whether that be laparoscopic or robotic. Complex hernia repairs and abdominal wall reconstruction using a robotic approach when able, aiming to restore a patient’s core strength to facilitate a healthier, more active lifestyle.
