History
The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was envisioned and established in August, 2011 by Gina Aguirre Adams, Estela Cabrera, and Berta Urteaga. These forward-looking ladies recognized the need for, and the benefits of having, an Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the Brazoria County area. With the help of Jeff Pynes, City Manager of the City of Freeport, they successfully opened for business in our first official office, and The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was born. Gina Aguirre Adams was appointed President/CEO. In addition, an Executive Board of Directors was formed, with the utmost intentions of elevating Hispanic and Non-Hispanic businesses in conjunction with promoting membership in the organization.

The Hispanic Chamber's goals are to develop and implement programs, events and services aimed at improving the economic development of Hispanic Business and non Hispanic Businesses in Brazoria County.
