Border Region Behavioral Health Center is a non-profit contract agency of the state of Texas, providing mental health and mental retardation services and supports to the citizens of Webb, Jim Hogg, Starr, and Zapata counties. Established in 1979, the center is dedicated to serving individuals most in need of services and promoting community integration.
Formerly known as Border Region MHMR, the center has evolved into Border Region Behavioral Health Center, employing 360 people and serving 9313 clients with a budget of 28 million dollars.
