HistoryIn 2002, approximately 40 people lead by Pastor Joey Thompson, felt a calling from the Lord to begin a new church called Living Hope. The mission was to extend the hope of Jesus to our community through an expression of love and the Bible. On February 18, 2003, the church began to grow and formally became Living Hope. It affiliated itself with the DBA, BGCT, and the Southern Baptist Convention. The church met in a shopping center for approximately two years and settling at 6310 Lyons Rd. in late 2003. In 2014, we called Troy DeFeo to become the new pastor of Living Hope.SpecialtiesExtending Hope and Turning Hearts Towards God captures the essence of the vision we have for reaching our community for Christ. Our mission is to bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by intentionally pursuing the Great Commission found in the New Testament in Matthew 28:19-20.
