History

Established in 2010 in Seguin Texas Blue Lotus Winery started doing tastings in the winery on the weekends. In 2014 our fist tasting room was completed in Seguin to hold events and tastings. In 2018 we expanded once again to Hye Texas with a new tasting room.

A definite must stop if you love wine or mead! Their tasting options are incredibly generous where you can have 5 tastings which can also mix and match their wines and mead. I'd say their draft...

Blue Lotus Winery and Texas Mead Works - OMG what a special spot. Such delicious tastings. They were out of 2 of the 3 on tap meads, the Outcast (blueberry mead) was yummy. Mary Todd was so nice...

My wife & I both enjoyed our $15 flight of 5 meads. Favorites were the Blackberry and if available on tap, try the carbonated Outcast mead. Small tasting room, but "resort" works in the works.
