William B. Travis Elementary was established in 1898 as a four-room school house. The school presently enrolls approximately 350 students in prekindergarten through grade five and has more than 20 classroom teachers and staff members. Its staff also includes a nurse, official assistants and facilitators. William B. Travis Elementary s facilities include a library, cafeteria and computer laboratory.
