Chartered in 1975, Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps serves the needs of persons with disabilities. In 1982, BACH initiated the Early Childhood Intervention program. BACH ECI serves children from birth to three-years of age who are delayed in the developmental areas of cognitive thinking and problem solving, gross-motor skills, fine-motor skills, expressive language and receptive language, self-help and social associations. BACH's ECI program works with the child's family to develop services for each child and provide support and information to help them to become advocates for their children. BACH also provides services to children from birth to 12-years and their families through the support service program. BACH s support services include recreational and educational support services, parent support services and equipment and technology services. The association is headquartered in Angleton, Texas.
