History
The business was set up by Bette Pritchett, a recent grad of Austin Electroysis Clinic, instructor, Ruth Willcott, D.C.T. Our first office was University Electrolysis Clinic, on West MLK; our next location was in the Longview Terrace building; then we moved to W. 29th street catercorner from the Zeta House; at this point we joined an electrolysis network, Hairfree Centers International, and became Hair Free Center of Austin, located on W. 17th street; then we moved to Dr. Wong's building on 40th street; next we disaffiliated from Hair Free Centers, and became Austin Medical Electrolysis Clinic, Inc.; as our business continued to expand, we moved to a Medical building on W. MLK; our next location was the Nob Hill building on North Lamar; and in 1999 we moved to our current, permanent location on Oakwood Drive in North Austin.

We perform the following modalities of the only permanent hair removal method, electrolysis: Multipulse microflash thermolysis, thermolysis, blend, galvanic electrolysis, multi-blend, thermocoagulation.
