ASSET InterTech is dedicated to achieving breakthroughs in joint test action group (JTAG) boundary scan technology. This technology, also known as IEEE 1149.1, gives original equipment manufacturers of electronic devices the ability to debug prototypes and pinpoint defects early in the design stage, obtain precise fault data during manufacturing, perform in-system programming of logic and flash devices and reduce no-fault-found problems. ASSET began as a business unit of Texas Instruments, developing IEEE 1149.1 tools. In 1995, the team that had designed, developed and marketed the ASSET system for the previous six years founded ASSET InterTech and acquired Texas Instruments product family of JTAG tools and its related business. The company s clients include British Aerospace, Cisco Systems, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, Rockwell, Raytheon and Unisys. In addition to its headquarters in Richardson, Texas, ASSET InterTech maintains offices throughout the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
