Founded in 1966, Angelina College is an academic facility that offers various educational programs and services and works to improve the economic, cultural and social life of students. It supports various technical programs that offer several associate degrees and certificates. The college also conducts workforce education programs that lead to employment, as well as provides academic readiness services. Angelina College maintains a counseling center that provides educational and career development and personal counseling services. It has an annual enrollment of more than 4,500 students and operates over 25 student clubs and organizations. The college additionally maintains several instructional divisions, such as fine and liberal arts, business, health careers, science and mathematics. Angelina College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges. It is located in Lufkin, Texas.
