Founded in 1987, the Aldersgate Enrichment Center is a nonprofit Christian training ministry that offers a range of vocational and residential programs. It is governed by the Central Texas Conference, which is a part of the United Methodist Church. The Aldersgate Enrichment Center offers assisted living, employment and life-skills training services to individuals with physical disabilities and mental illnesses. It also operates a pallet department that produces more than 500 pallets daily. The ministry maintains a packaging department that produces plastic dinnerware packets. In addition, it operates a recycling department that recycles cardboard and newspapers. The Aldersgate Enrichment Center organizes several recreational activities, including sports and gardening events.
