On January 1, 2006, AGH Engineering & Surveying, LLC acquired AGH Consultants, PLLC. AGH Consultants, PLLC was previously registered as a sole proprietor and all of its assets were transferred to AGH Engineering & Surveying, LLC. Both firms are registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers under firm registration number F-5197. AGH Engineering & Surveying, LLC ( AGH ) is operated as a partnership. Alfredo G. ( Fred ) Hernandez, P.E., S.I.T., is the President, Sidney ( Sid ) Rouch, R.P.L.S. is its Vice-President, and Marco A. Hernandez, P.E., is an Associate Vice President. Mr. Fred Hernandez and Mr. Rouch are both actively involved in the management and daily operations of the company. Mr. Marco Hernandez is a minority shareholder, but does not participate in the daily activities of the company. He is however, available to AGH on a consulting basis when needed. Alfredo G. Hernandez, P.E. - Mr. Hernandez is a licensed professional engineer with over 23 years of engineering related experience. Mr. Hernandez has vast experience in civil engineering and municipal utility and other infrastructure projects. His experience ranges from planning assignments such as preparing facility plans for Texas Water Development Board projects to design, bidding and construction phase services on projects ranging from water and wastewater lines to expansions to wastewater treatment plants such as the North ( Robindale ) Wastewater Treatment Plant and Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant in Brownsville. More recently Mr. Hernandez has performed design, bidding and construction phase services for the BPUB Jacaranda Sanitary Sewer Project, the 16-Inch BPUB Waterline Loop and the Cadell Road Waterline Project for the City of Brownsville and funded through the Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG ) program. Mr. Hernandez was born in Brownsville Texas and graduated from a local public high school ( Gladys Porter High School ). He is licensed as a professional engineer in the states of Texas and Colorado.
