Donna Ayers Kennedy and her husband Perry Kennedy have been in the restaurant business for 13 years. They currently own Rankin Restaurant in Knoxville and now The Local after taking over The Diner from the previous owners.

The fried green tomatoes and house made ranch so yummy!!! My catfish and hush puppies were sooooo good. Loved the authentic taste of the turnip greens. Service is wonderful love the atmosphere !
