Teryl Fleming, M.Ed
SpecialtiesI believe in a personalized approach to therapy which is established through a trusting relationship and builds on your strengths--turning your problems into a passion for changing painful life patterns, healing from difficult life experiences, and restoring broken relationships. I work with adults, adolescents, and children over ten in a relational, dynamic way, aiming to help unlock your growth potential by discovering what works best for you with compassion and understanding. My approach to counseling is integrative, drawing from various therapeutic styles in order to meet your specific needs. Most importantly, we build a solid therapeutic relationship before deciding on what style or techniques we use to help you reach your goals. These models include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, psycho dynamic, experiential, Trauma Focus CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, art and play therapy. I am passionate about my work and about those who have experienced trauma or who have been deeply affected by relational issues. I work with adults, teens, children, and parents who are navigating life's everyday challenges and transitions (e.g., anxiety, self-worth, career issues, grief, parenthood, relationship issues, depression, illness, and more).
