History
People for the Enforcement of Rape Laws (PERL) was started in 2015 with a mission to monitor the law enforcement community's responses to sexual violence. Our goal is to end the legal and political practices that effectively decriminalize sexual violence in our communities. To this end, we connect victims with information about their rights and equip individuals with tools to advocate for themselves and others and advocate for fair criminal justice policies.
Specialties
PERL specializes in victims advocacy, holding law enforcement accountable, lobbying government officials, and conducting effective public relations campaigns.
