The Pyramid Academy is a middle school that provides educational opportunities for students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes English, math, biology, chemistry, physics, art, reading, social studies, Spanish, computer technology, and health and physical education. It offers individual guidance counseling, nursing and after-school tutorial services. In addition, the Pyramid Academy maintains a library and cafeteria. The school administers an alternative program to improve academic performance and develop life functioning, social, behavioral and personal skills. It organizes parent-teacher conferences and provides social work opportunities. The Pyramid Academy also offers an adolescent parenting program. The school is a part of Memphis City Schools.
