Mythical Markings Tattoo opened 22 years ago when owner, Dale Johnson, began his career as a tattoo artist here in Knoxville. The studio first opened in April of 1996, when tattooing was not yet recognized as an art form in East Tennessee. Over the years Dale Johnson and his team of artists strive to bring Knoxville Tennessee into the forefront of this ancient form of expression.
