Dr. Eugene McGehee founded this veterinary hospital after graduation from Iowa State University. He practiced small animal veterinary medicine and surgery as both a solo practitioner and also with associates.Dr. Norris McGehee joined the practice in 1987 after graduation from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine and eventually purchasing the hospital in 1990. In 1998 he became certified as an AVMA Board Recognized Specialist in Canine and Feline Practice. Dr. Melissa J. Barnes also graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine and joined the clinic in 2005.Dr. Megan Arevalo joined us in 2007 after graduation from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and practicing for 2 year in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Lacey Rush, also a Tennessee Graduate joined in 2017 after practicing in North Carolina.We have had a long and lasting relationship with our clientele.
