History
Mark, originally from Rochester, New York, attended the University of Buffalo where he earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Mark was introduced to golf as a child by his father and was later inspired to teach golf after attending the Ryder Cup at Oak Hill Country Club in 1995. Mark brings over 16 years of teaching experience to the Golf Academy, helping golfers of all ages and skill levels improve their game. In 2009, Mark's student of 6 years, Tim Jackson, led the US Senior Open for two days and finished in the top 10. Tim credits a change in putting technique by Mark as a key in his run for the Open.
