Established in 1955, the Emory Valley Center is a private, nonprofit agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. The center has expertise in supported living, residential habilitation and community-based day services. It offers supported employment, case management, personal assistance and skilled nursing programs. The Emory Valley Center also provides early intervention, family support and transportation solutions. The center offers speech, occupational and physical therapies. It provides assistance with the development of social, emotional, language, motor and cognitive skills. The Emory Valley Center serves Anderson, Morgan, Campbell, Scott, Blount, Cocke, Jefferson, Loudon, Roane and Sevier counties in Tennessee. In addition, the center organizes vocational training workshops.
