History
Our family farm has been growing local produce since 1972. The 220 acre farm located in College Grove along the Harpeth River is home to three generations of family farmers. We grow a large variety of certified organic vegetables ten months out of the year. Delvin Farms began in 1972 with Hank, Sr. and Cindy Delvin and their children, Hank Jr., Eric and Amy. From 1972- 1997 the farm produce was sold through distribution centers, Shoneys and grocery stores. In 1997 Hank and Cindy began the process of turning the farm into a certified organic operation and the farm became certified organic in 1998. Our love of the land and of what we do has led us into the area of Community Supported Agriculture. We began the CSA in 1999. By providing this service, consumers can be certain, through direct contact and knowing their grower, that their food is produced in the safest of environments.
