Behavioral Services of Tennessee provides assessment and treatment to individuals diagnosed with autism, mental retardation, mental illness and traumatic brain injury in need of care services. Its project ACCESS provides service to individuals with severe behavior problems, in need of specialized residential support. BSTN support involves the use of several strategies that include hiring of a selected team of community program educators that will implement an approved behavior support plan. The organization employs a team of state-approved behavior analysts to provide services and respond to crisis 24-hours, seven-days. The behavior treatment plan involves the arrangement of stimuli, consequences, behavioral contracts and various motivational procedures to increase desired behaviors and to decrease undesired behaviors.
