Political forums are a way for BBB Communications to let the viewers decide whom they should vote for in local and state elections. In July 2002 alone, Channel 12 aired over 50 hours of local election information. BBB Communications provides local community news daily at 5: 00pm by going out in the public and getting the information that our viewers want to know. And Channel 12 is the source for local sports information by providing replays of local high school sports, live call-in scoreboard shows that provide up to the minute updates, and other local sports call-in shows that allow viewers a chance to talk about all of the various sports in the Tri-County Area.History of BBB CommunicationsBack in the early '90's Harriman Cablevision decided to make a local community channel that would serve the Roane County area as a source for religious, educational and informative programming. The early studio was in the cable office break room and breaks were usually taken when the icemaker in the refrigerator began to release its newest batch of ice. Slowly but surely the channel grew in popularity and so more space was needed. After two additions to the cable building Channel 12 was proving that they could make it as a local community television station. Needless to say 10 years and several thousand dollars later, BBB Communications has turned the local channel into a household name in Roane County and in October 2001 began a new challenge of doing the same in Anderson County. Ron Berry and Tony Brown along with another partner whose last name began with a "B" took over the operation about 7 years ago and they have not looked back since.Production FacilitiesBBB Communications Production Facilities are contained within the 4, 000 square feet of space that is located in Grove Shopping Center at 170 Randolph Road in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
