John Maxon and Rick Soulek formed Honest Automotive in 2016 to provide quality independent repair and maintenance services to the west side of Rapid City. John Maxon - John has been in the Auto Repair and Maintenance industry for 27 years. John owned, managed and provided the labor for a sole proprietorship automobile repair shop (Blackhawk Auto). John is an expert mechanic and has built up a loyal base of customers. John has excellent customer service and relationship management skills Rick Soulek - Rick has 29 years of accounting and business management experience. Rick's strengths include: Customer Service, Staff Management, Business Process & Procedures, Relationship Management, Regulatory Compliance, Accounting, Budgeting and Business Management. Rick worked on a family farm until age 20 and is very familiar with Repair and Maintenance. We believe the combination of Rick's and John's background and strengths provide a great platform to operate a small auto repair
