Piedmont Council BSA is a youth leadership development organization that offers a variety of scouting programs for youths. It organizes fundraising events and offers training programs. It is a part of the Boy Scouts of America, which is a nonprofit organization that provides scouting programs for youths through its affiliate councils. It offers educational programs for boys and young adults between the ages of 7 and 20 to build character, train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop personal fitness. The organization operates six programs: Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting and Venturing.
