Timmons Arena is a 100,000 square-foot multi-purpose facility located on the campus of Furman University in Greenville, SC. With seating for 3,500 people for basketball and 6,000 for concerts and other events, the arena serves as the home for the university's men's and women's basketball programs, as well as the men's and women's lacrosse programs. The facility features two regulation-size basketball courts, recently renovated locker rooms, sports information offices, a sports medicine facility, and a 7,000 square-foot strength and conditioning center.
Equipped with collapsible chair-back seating, Timmons Arena offers a versatile space that can be used for a variety of activities. The facility also boasts state-of-the-art videoboards and was made possible by a generous $4 million donation from William R. Timmons, Jr. and Jean Timm, dedicated in honor of former Paladin great Frank Selvy.
