Located in Columbia, S.C., Summit Parkway Middle School is operated by the Richland School District Two and serves more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as mathematics, English, science, social studies, language arts and foreign languages. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, keyboarding, physical education, orchestra, band, technology, and chorus and general music. The middle school has a media center that organizes various book fairs and other events. It provides a variety of athletic activities, including football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and soccer.
