Sultan Siddique, MD, FACC, FHRS, is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Siddique is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He is skilled in performing a multitude of device implantations including pacemaker, leadless pacemaker (Micra), ICD, biventricular device, Sub-Q ICD and left atrial appendage occlusion device (Watchman). He also performs ablation procedures for all types of arrhythmias, including SVT, WPW, atrial tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, PVC, ventricular tachycardia (endocardial and epicardial) and ventricular fibrillation. Dr. Siddique has performed approximately 225 to 250 ablations a year since 2004. He is a primary investigator in ablation trials and co-investigator in multiple device and ablation related trials.
