Southern Classics has its history in furniture both design and fabrication. When looking back at the history of cabinetry, its roots are similar to the types of furniture found in early American kitchens. Today, cabinetry has taken on a different role, although the function remains the same. Cabinets now have a more furniture-like appeal and are designed to show-case a particular room. Southern Classics can provide the homeowner with new cabinets or upgrade the design and function of your existing ones. This can be achieved by altering or adding new cabinets, decorative moldings, new doors and hardware, and a new finish. We can provide stain, paint, glaze or rub-thru finishes to achieve the new look you desire. Our cabinets are fabricated with solid wood face frames and doors NO particle board is ever used. We use a catalyzed lacquer that provides a beautiful, highly durable finish that is resistant to household chemicals. The cabinets are then hand-rubbed to produce a smooth, furniture-like feel.
