Sherri McMahan, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner at Family Medicine in Walhalla, South Carolina. She brings over 30 years of experience to the practice, helping the medical team with patient care, including health assessments, blood work, and in-office diagnostics, such as EKGs and vaccination administration. She also provides preventive healthcare treatments and education for disease management and prevention. Sherri began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson County, South Carolina. She continued her education with an associate degree in nursing from Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, South Carolina. Sherri then pursued her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at South University in Savannah, Georgia. When not at work, Sherri still enjoys caring for others. She proudly serves her local community, working as a patient advocate for the health, well-being, and education of her patients. Sherri takes an active role in teaching other nurse practitioner students from local universities. A native of Seneca, South Carolina, Sherri enjoys spending time with her husband and three adult children. She also cherishes being with her two sweet grandchildren, her friends, and extended family.
