The Sandor Teszler Library at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC is a three-story, 43,000 square foot building that was built in 1969 and dedicated in 1971. It replaced the smaller Daniel Hall library and has since grown its collections and undergone renovations to meet the needs of students and faculty.
The library is named in honor of Sandor Teszler, a Holocaust survivor and local textile executive, and has won an award of merit from the South Carolina chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Visitors from the community are welcome, and the library also houses Archives and Special Collections available by appointment.
