Mitch Carnell, a renowned communication expert and author, passed away at the age of 88 in Charleston, South Carolina. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as the Director, President, and CEO of Charleston Speech Hearing Center, Mitch dedicated his life to serving others and was recognized with numerous awards and honors. He was also a prolific writer, publishing books on effective communication and Christian civility, and his work in promoting positive communication was officially recognized by the mayor of North Charleston, who proclaimed June 1 as Say Something Nice Day.
