Dr. Nathan M. Moroski is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, specifically complex issues affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Davis, where he also was a member of the cross country and track & field teams and graduated with honors. He then earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Moroski went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his fellowship training in surgical sports medicine in Birmingham, Alabama at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute. Working under world-renowned surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, as well as Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, he served as assistant team physician to the University of Alabama football team and was intimately involved in the care of the Alabama Ballet, WWE, and the minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. While in Birmingham, Dr. Moroski trained in innovative, cutting edge, minimally invasive surgical techniques and treated a diverse range of recreational, collegiate and professional athletes. He currently serves as a team physician for Clemson University athletics, head team physician for D.W. Daniel High School and a consultant for numerous other local universities and high schools. Dr. Moroski has stayed engaged in the orthopedic surgery community, co-authoring book chapters, authoring journal articles and both presenting research and serving as faculty at national meetings. Dr. Moroski is a sports enthusiast. He enjoys running, hiking, golf and spending time with his family. He and his wife Annie have three children, Bailey, Maci and Hank.
