Kershaw County Medical Center is a 121-bed acute care facility, with an additional 88-bed long-term facility, a health resource center, and home health and hospice agency in Camden, S.C. Founded in 1913, the nonprofit medical center offers a range of cardiovascular and pulmonary services, diabetes management programs, adult and pediatric medicine, oncology, and surgical and emergency services. The hospital also offers gastroenterology, radiology and diagnostic and home care services. It provides inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, including occupational and speech therapies for orthopedic, neurological, wound care, pediatric and industrial rehabilitation patients. Kershaw County Medical Center also participates in community outreach programs and fund-raising events, and provides volunteer opportunities at the hospital for community members.
