Josh Whibley, PA, is a non-surgical orthopaedic and sports medicine physician’s assistant. He specializes in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal sports injuries, including fractures, sprains, arthritis, tendon injuries, and exercise-related illnesses. Josh treats these issues with medications, injections, physical therapy, bracing, and other options. He is trained in performing ultrasound-guided injections, including cortisone, biologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PCR), and viscosupplement injections. He attended the College of Charleston for his undergraduate degree and then graduated with a master of science in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2015. Since then, Josh has worked with the shoulder and elbow team in the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Additionally, he is married with two children and enjoys being active in his free time. His favorite hobbies include surfing at his favorite beach and snowboarding out West.
