Dr. Sanders interests focus on reconstructive microsurgery. He received an undergraduate degree from Furman University and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Sanders completed orthopaedic residency with the Greenville Hospital System in 1997 and a research fellowship in Edmonton, Alberta in 1998. Dr. Sanders completed his Hand and Microsurgery fellowship in 1999 in San Antonio, Texas, under David P. Green, M.D. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. His hobbies include family, running, and swimming.
