Since emigrating to America twenty-six years ago, the owner has worked in various restaurants as everything from dishwasher to general manager. He has worked across the United States in cities including New York, Atlanta, and Greenville. In 1998 the Morrocan restaurant in Atlanta which he was managing at the time, won the prestigious Atlanta Tourism Award for Best Hospitality. Since moving to Greenville he has been General Manager of a number of popular restaurants in the area. Although he has helped open and been a partner in new businesses, this is his first solo venture.
Specialties
Habiba specializes in fresh Mediterranean cuisine. We have a medley of dishes from around the Mediterranean region including salads, wraps, kabobs, and tandori; all of which are prepared on site. Our premier dish is the Lamb Shank, which is marinated for twelve hours and slow roasted in the oven for over four, making the meat so tender it slides right off the bone. We also have the lowest price hookah lounge in Greenville, with over fifteen separate flavors. We also have a full bar, featuring our house Mediterranean wine; Rene Barbier.
