Established in 1981, Foothills Playhouse is a nonprofit theater based in Easley, S.C., established by a group of dedicated individuals. Known originally as the Easley Community Theatre, it produced four adult shows at Easley High School during their debut season. Over the next 24 seasons, it has evolved into the current name and has changed locations from the high school to the Foothills Mall, and finally in 1991 to West End Hall, where it still resides. The theater group has grown to six shows including youth productions and drama classes. Foothills Playhouse provides quality, live theatre for the entertainment, education and edification of the city, state and region.
